Taishoken Soshigayaokura

Amazing traditional dishes. Very tasty and big enough portion sizes. Seems to be popular with local working crews, for a reason.

The interior of the store is clean and gives you a taste of the Showa era.
The owner shows his kindness and consideration, even if he only does one operation at full speed. Deep-fried chicken gives off a sense of masculinity that doesn't appeal to the boom. The texture is more than crispy and addictive, and there are two fried eggs on the side to accompany the rice. The tsukemen you can see on the signboard is also great.
Anyway, it's reasonable! It is loved by locals.

It feels like it's run by a family, so the inside of the store is small, but even if you're waiting outside, the owner will say to you, There's room! and it gives you a very pleasant impression.
I ordered the fried chicken set meal, but when I calmed down and looked at the menu on the wall, I saw a menu called fried chicken curry. ? be on one's mind~!
Hearty fried chicken with two fried eggs! The quantity and price are perfect.
I think the flavor was a little strong, but the freshly fried chicken made up for it and I finished it in no time.
It's impressive that the fried chicken set meal costs ¥800, but regular customers pay ¥1,400 to ¥2,000! It's a very enjoyable Chinese restaurant in town that makes you want to eat gyoza on its own.

It's always crowded, and even near the end of lunch hours, it's full, so you'll have to wait in line, but even if you stop by once, you won't miss it.

Recently, I felt like eating traditional soy sauce ramen, and when I found out that there was a branch of Taishoken not far from my workplace (within a 20-minute walk), I was wondering when I should go, but I finally found the time. So I took the plunge and went.
I entered the store around 5:10pm and there was only one customer in front of me.
It was a small restaurant with 6 counter seats and 3 tables for 2 people.
When I think of Taishoken, I think of ramen, and without hesitation, I ordered ramen and gyoza.While I was doing that, two people came to the store, one of whom ordered a fried chicken set meal, and the other who ordered tsukesoba with chashu.
The live noodles and gyoza were ready in about 10 minutes.
The ramen soup had a strong taste of dried sardines, and it was the flavor I was looking for, and I was so deeply moved that I couldn't stop eating my chopsticks. The color of the soup was so dark that you couldn't see the noodles, and on the contrary, the color of the soup was on the noodles. The ingredients were simple: chashu, seaweed, spinach, and menmanart.
After I ate about half of it, I ate the gyoza, but the gyoza was pretty average.
I finished my meal in about 15 minutes and left the restaurant with the Tsukesoba side by side. Anyway, that soup was so delicious that it left a lasting impression.
