Chanced upon this spot and saw locals lining up as early as 10am so we tried to come by at dinner time without any expectations. They were closing at 9 but we lined up at 850pm and were still accomodated even if there are still 5 peope before us. I ordered the set with pork katsu and oyster katsu. On first bite, I immediately knew this katsu place is a standout! Simple yet tasty pork and it can’t get any better. The oyster was unexpectedly good! Who knew oyster can be a katsu too. Glad we tried it! We are the only foreigners in the place but the server/waitstaff can speak/understand English and they have english menu. Wait is not too long as the place has quite a numbe of seats.

The カキバーター焼 was really good. The fried oysters were also good. You can add a little curry to your rice for ¥150. However the shop is really small, so I had to wait for almost an hour on a Wednesday evening. It was worth it to go once. If I were to go again, I’d probably go by myself so I can sit at the counter.

The place is quite small so even when it opens there is a huge line. Waited around 30mins on Monday lunch at 11am.
The food is delicious specially the hamburger with ponzu sauce. Price very reasonable for the set meal. Staff is nice and has English menu
