The Showa era ramen.
Not the Showa like tasted, real Showa.

At that time, ramen wasn't so tasty and/or yummy. So, it's not delicious but it's the catch. Like go back in time.

If you really really want to know what Japanese ate 50 years ago, you can taste that here.

Small ramen shop under the train rail. Really good bowl with a great soup. Gyozas were also really good. Staff was nice

This is an old-fashioned ramen shop located under guard in Yurakucho.
The menu is basically ramen, fried rice, and gyoza.
The ramen is just traditional ramen and has a taste that anyone can imagine.
The pork is firm and thickly sliced, making it chewy and delicious.
The fried rice has a lot of chashu and is thoroughly stir-fried to give it a fragrant flavor.
It had onions in it and green peas on top, so it felt like Kyushu fried rice.
I didn't eat the gyoza, but the wonton was a meaty wonton with lots of garlic, so I guess the gyoza was also good.
