I was in the nearby area and was looking for a place to get lunch, and this was one of few in the area that wasn’t a chain restaurant.
I’m glad I got to try this place as the tempura was both good and affordable.
There was an option to get a bigger size for a bit of extra, but even the normal serving of rice was already plentiful - so much so that many female customers would request for less rice!
I got the kakiage, and it wasn’t crunchy when served but it was still very good.

Was brought here by a local guide. Everything was wonderful. You will need a reservation!

Best tempura we had in Japan. Very friendly chefs, who kindly served us while explaining in English to their best ability. Very reasonably priced lunch!
