Terakoya Sushisho is a new Sushisho restaurant that opened in Azabudai Hills last fall.

This store is located on the street behind Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza B, directly connected to Kamiyacho Station. Next door is Mr. Yamagishi from Kyoto.

The exterior of the store is stylish, with a wooden latticework and smoked glass doors that combine Japanese and modern elements.

When you open the door, you'll see a chic dark brown waiting room with 7 seats.As you move further inside, you'll find 7 seats at the calm Japanese plain wood main counter.
In the future, the waiting room will be open to the second person. (This time it is an irregular experience to have it in the waiting room)

General Tatsushige Soki is the same age as me, 1988 generation. He has been a sushi chef since he was 19 years old, and has been training under General Nakazawa ever since.He has the blood of a true sushi chef.
You can enjoy delicious sushi with careful nigiri and gentle customer service.

The style where picking and nigiri are served alternately, as well as the famous Ankon Watermelon Narazuke and Ohagi, are still alive and well here.
Since his name is Terakoya, Mr. Sogi will also be responsible for nurturing the next generation of young people.
I'm also looking forward to seeing Terakoya Sushisho in the future.
