Old school, friendly, and cute restaurant in Shibuya. I ordered chicken (a must), pork, and ham cutlet, which are delicious. The price is reasonable. I asked for small portion of rice, so the photos seem tiny rice. I really recommend.👍

After googling chicken restaurants nearby, I came across this gem of a restaurant.

The restaurant is located within a small alleyway. Head down the stairs.

English menu, beers available and toilet on site.

We chose the any four items options for Y1250 (two of us). The food was so good I decided to order more food for Y250. The food came with miso and rice.

Whilst we were the only foreigners (or it seemed that way) we felt welcome. It seemed to me that this restaurant has been operating for a long time.

Great food and a great experience if you are in the mood for some fried food.

Old school neighborhood restaurant. I bought the set meal, which comes with a chicken, ham and a croquette with rice and miso soup. Great value at only ¥800. Place can be hard to find, it’s down a back alley in Shinbuya, about a 5 min walk from the station.

some of the best katsu ive ever tasted (even better than that one famous franchise that everyone’s so hyped about value-wise imho)!!!!! it was so cheap just 1000 yen for 3 different katsu dishes (i ordered fish, chicken, and crab). the crab croquette was pure bliss could not recommend it enough. the type you’ll crave for a while and still remember every now and then at random moments. maybe on my death bed it’ll be my final wish (i may be exaggerating a bit)

it’s a bit difficult to find tho as it is a small authentic counter-seated place in a small building located in a small alley. literally a hidden gem.

The place is a hidden gem located in a small alley near Shibuya. I came around 8PM and there is no queue at all. Staffs were very friendly and they do provide an English menu

I tried the ¥800 set meal and it was one of the best chicken katsu I’ve ever eaten! The dough was not too thick and it was really flavorful. Definitely will come again when I visit Tokyo :)
