Every day I walk around eating skewers to feature on Instagram.
This time I went to Tsukiji Hantei.
Due to a staff shortage, we are currently open for lunch only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The location is in the basement of a building near Narutomi and Gorigi.
Lunch is 1100 yen with only one choice.
When you enter the store, it will be served to you without you having to say anything.
Lunch set meal
One small dish (potato salad)
Raw vegetables (cucumber, carrot, radish cabbage)
7 types of fried skewers
・Shrimp shiso roll
・Pork loin with green onions
·Ground Meat Cutlet
·squid
・Potato
・Scallops
・Crab cream croquette

Even though it's lunch, the food is freshly fried and served piping hot.
Many of the skewers are more filling than I expected, which is probably why there are many male customers.
Sufficient in quantity. Menchi and crab cream croquettes go well with rice.
I think this price is a great value.
Plenty of raw vegetables too. Add sweet miso.
The rice was freshly cooked and the miso soup was piping hot.
It can't be said that the oil drains well, but there's nothing better than freshly fried food.
Finished meal.
It's packed with vegetables and has a good nutritional balance, so it's no wonder it's so popular!

It is located on the basement floor of a building near the former Tsukiji Market, Asahi Shimbun Tokyo Headquarters, Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau, National Cancer Center Hospital, and Shinbashi Enbujo. I think the set price of 1,100 yen including tax (available on May 19, 2022), which includes rice (refillable), miso soup, pickles, vegetable sticks, and 7 skewers, is more than a good deal considering the location. The skewers are a little heavier than those at my favorite restaurant.
