Good sushi for under 1000 yen per person

Very localized reasonable cost sushi restaurant. Recommend to go there.

About 2 minutes walk from the west exit of JR Akabane Station. It is located along the former Iwatsuki Kaido road. There is no on-site parking lot, so you must use the nearest coin parking lot. Depending on the time of day, the average price is around 220 yen for 20 minutes.

From the outside, you might think it's an old-fashioned, small sushi restaurant, but it's actually a large box sushi restaurant with about 70 seats, including a counter and family restaurant box seats. In addition, if there were only two people, we could not make a reservation, so we visited directly.

Visited after 7:30pm on a weekday in March 2024. I took my seat without any problems. Looking at the menu, the a la carte price ranges from 88 yen to 385 yen per piece. Prices range from 990 yen for omakase nigiri plum to 2,420 yen for 1.5 servings of special sushi. There were also many other sashimi dishes. As for alcohol, draft beer starts at 770 yen, shochu-type drinks start at 660 yen, and soft drinks start at 330 yen. For a la carte, orders start from 2 pieces.

This time, we had the special sushi for 1.5 people for 2,420 yen, other à la carte snacks, and drinks, and the cost for two people was about 12,000 yen. The ``Menegi 165 yen'' that all the regulars ordered was refreshing and good. Recommended. The fish sushi itself was very fresh and tasted simple.

This is an everyday sushi restaurant where most of the staff are locals. It's close to the station, so you can grab a bite to eat and go home.

Ordered sushi lunch sushi 1.5 servings 1,700 yen and 1 serving 1,400 yen.
There were no customers because it was after 2pm, outside of lunch time.
Cheap and delicious. It's not friendly, but it's not bad. I guess it depends on the person, but I like people who don't stick together or leave.
