Wolfgang's Steakhouse Marunouchi

I recently visited Wolfgang's Steakhouse Marunouchi in Tokyo on a Friday at noon.

We had the lunch special, which includes the Wolfgang's salad and a sirloin steak, which can be upgraded to the famous Wolfgang's porterhouse steak for two (which we did).

The ceilings at Wolfgang's Steakhouse Marunouchi are exactly like the ceiling at the original Wolfgang's on Park Avenue in New York, and the dining room was full of business people in suits and other fashionable Japanese enjoying an expensive lunch.

The Wolfgang's salad includes some of Wolfgang's special thick cut bacon along with iceberg lettuce and tomatoes.

The steak for two came out in its own juices, as usual, and came with creamed spinach as a side.

This is not a big amount of food at lunch, but it is a reasonable price for what you get and if you love Wolfgang's in other locales, you will enjoy the Marunouchi location.

However, you must also visit their special Teppan (teppanyaki) location in Ginza if you are a Wolfgang's afficionado.

Service was absolutely perfect and the staff made every attempt to make things perfect. Beluga Caviar was amongst the best caviar I’ve ever had. Steak 🥩 was perfect 🤩…please go here!

They are famous for amazing steaks, but on my most recent visit I opted to try some of the other items on the menu such as lobster bisque (superb) and the crab cake burger which is only available on the lunch menu. The crab cake party was humongous and probably one of the best crab cakes I have had in my life. Hence, even if you don't fancy beef you can always come for the crab cake burger. The complementary bread is great and you can have unlimited refills. One thing that stood out to me was the impeccable service and it has been a while since I've been to a place that impressed me as such. Last but not least, the key lime pie was a great finisher to the meal. I can't wait till my next visit!
