Yakiniku Kimura

We eat a lot of K BBQ back in LA. This place was awesome.
We used google translate on the menu but ended up pointing to dishes off the pics on google.
This was one of the best korean food we’ve had aside from Korea.

We had seven people and ate a storm.

The dishes were well spaced apart and planned well.

If you don’t speak Japanese, give it a shot and point to pics.

This place is delicious and the staff tried very hard to accommodate and serve us.

They even used google translate to communicate which was nice.

Please just have patience and tolerance of non Japanese speaking and you will be well rewarded with a top notch Korean food experience. Enjoy!

The grilled food was especially delicious, especially the tongue.
The tongue was just the right thickness, with just the right amount of fat, and although thinly sliced, it was very satisfying and delicious.

The ``Black Tongue Curry'' requires advance reservations, but in a good sense, it was almost a curry stew of tongue (lol), about 8.50% tongue and 1.5% roux.
The tongue is a bit loose but still has a satisfying texture, and the roux is nice to be able to get a second helping.

I ordered two plates of ``Chateaubriand cutlet bowl'', a luxurious dish made with approximately 230g of chateaubriand.
The Chateaubriand has just the right amount of marbling and is a rosé-colored cutlet that is so soft that it can be loosened with a spoon.
The warishita has a nice flavor to it, so that's a good thing.

Since I had decided what I wanted to eat this time, I asked for reservations in advance, except for the melted kimbap and appetizers (kimchi, namul).
Advance reservations are required for some items, so if you're sure there's something you want to eat, it's best to make a reservation in advance.

Yakiniku Kimura is located a little far from Yakiniku Street in Asakusa.
This is a yakiniku restaurant with a slightly more luxurious feel compared to other restaurants that are more reasonably priced.
Since it's a popular restaurant, I made a reservation, but as soon as it opened, there were a lot of customers, so reservations are essential.

The meat itself is delicious, but side dishes such as gimbap are also famous. To be honest, it's more meat, rice, and seaweed than kinpa toi, but you can enjoy it with plenty of wasabi.
