Yakiniku Ushidoshi Shinjuku

Visited for a business dinner for four people. The meat was delicious and the soup was good too.

However, waitresses were little slow… We had to call them many times to ask for another drink.

A small place with limited seating. Restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. Wait staff was attentive but a couple of them looked to be really new. I had to save one of them from burning his fingers on the hotplate, twice. That said, they did make an effort to provide good service.

We tried two 3 different cuts of meat. All were fresh, tender and marbled. Do note that you do the cooking yourself so be sure to adjust the flame to suit your own style. We also ordered some fresh mushrooms and asparagus for the grill, which went really well with the meat.

Considering the quality of the meat, and a family of four, the price was reasonable compared to similar places back home.
