High-end shabu shabu place in Akasaka. They have English menus, so very good to take foreigners. I went there with a client, in a private room, for dinner. The place is on the outlet high-level, but it has somewhat of an old Japan style to it. There are private rooms as well as open tables. There are an assortment of à la Carte small dish options that are all very tasty and sophisticated. Among those, I had the blowfish Karaage, the third of soup, the tuna sashimi set, and the yellowtail grill. Only the yellowtail was just average. The shabu shabu is as simple and traditional as it can go. Very subtle taste. The meat was Wagyu, and therefore very marbled. Thats an acquired taste and not everyone might enjoy. Good selection of wines, we had two very good bottles of French wine that match up well with the food. Definitely a good place for business..

The food and the service is good. I was surprised the food was served shortly after we have placed our orders despite the restaurant was full on a Thursday evening. They were six of us. We ordered a steak course, premium beef sukiyaki, Matsusaka beef sukiyaki and a fish Japanese course plus some a-la-carte including the wagyu beef sushi, sashimi, tomato salad, green salad and cold tofu. The kitchen was very accommodative to replace the beef with steamed fish for my Japanese course. For the sukiyaki, the beef is cooked, dipped in raw egg and served to you.

Excellent quality, traditional food & very friendly service!! Solid consistent place to come eat great food. Around ¥2,000 for lunch
