I visited ZOOT, a ramen restaurant and izakaya in Hamamatsucho, for lunch on a weekday. This restaurant is an izakaya at night, but a ramen restaurant during the day. When we arrived around 1pm, there were about 3 groups there. I ordered a large bowl of tsukemen. 1,000 yen including tax. Tsukemen was served in about 7 minutes. The noodles are flat and thick, and the dipping sauce is dried sardines, bonito, and back oil. The soup is not mushy and doesn't stick to the noodles too much. It contained finely chopped green onions, onions, and char siu, and was quite filling.
