I had no idea there was one in my neighborhood, but it seems like it's been open for about two years.
It's located at the back of an old apartment building that you enter from the side passage. There is also a restaurant in front of the apartment, so it may be confusing at first glance.
The inside of the store is a different world, isolated from the atmosphere outside. You can see the plants from the large windows, creating the feeling of a restaurant with a nice atmosphere in a secluded area.
At night, only the 16,500 yen course is available. There are 9 dishes in total. We had an abundance of various ingredients, from luxurious seafood such as milt, salmon roe, kueh, oysters, and sea urchins, to porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, Spanish chicks, and beef rump meat.
I don't have a clear understanding of the difference between French and Italian food (just the presence or absence of pasta), but I feel that Italian food is elegant, yet punchy and voluminous. Everything was wonderful and delicious.
We don't drink alcohol, so we just eat a lot. In that case, at other restaurants you often have to wait quite a while, but here, the food was served crisply to match the speed of eating. Since I'm a couple and not for a dinner party, I don't like long courses because I get tired of waiting (usually about 3 hours), but this time I was able to leave in an hour and a half. thank you.
The staff, including the chef, were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I think I'd like to go there for lunch next time.
