We had excellent sushi bowl for lunch here. It was a bit pricey(1,500) but it was worth it. The restaurant has traditional Japanese design and there’s a small garden. We got the table with garden view and it was really nice experience. The service is very good. The staff are polite and nice. I can highly-recommend this restaurant.

We decided to make a day trip to Kawagoe to have a look around some older Japanese locations and at the same time get some Ryotei experience. Ryotei in Japanese simply implies traditional high-class Japanese restaurant; name being derived from ryō food, cuisine (shortened from ryōri; from Middle Chinese) + tei pavilion, elegant residence built in the style of a traditional summer house, often used as the final element in restaurant names. We had difficulty finding this place as the entrance was a non-descript looking wooden gate by the pavement. When you enter the gate, you walk down a narrow path which eventually opens up to a typical Japanese village type building - simply awesome. The interior deco was superb and we got a view sitting beside the window and looking out into the small japanese garden. We could see the chefs preparing our lunches and we were simple blown away by the beauty and simplicity of the meals presented and with flavourful taste. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it.

They have really great Kaiseki Courses for real good prices! Its about 4500 Yen for one person for the smaller one and its absolutely worth it! I didnt took a picture of everything but the Umami in there just blows ur mind.

Especially nice if your able to grab a seat with a view into the garden.

Also attention when your walking inside there are very low bars hanging around you will hit your head with.
