Absolutely delicious. Fresh food. Pickles and marinated cooked fish self service bar. There's no English menu. I speak and read a little bit of Japanese but there's not that many pictures in the menu and it was too long for me to interpret the whole menu so I just asked to get the same set as the guy next to me. It was the 1100 yen set and it was amazing.

We came here at 13:30 (just 30mins before its lunch closing time) and managed to find a seat immediately. We ordered two sets: mackerel and yellow tail (1300 ¥)and the signature mackerel set (1000 ¥). You also get to your free-fill self-service pickles in front of the kitchen.

The taste each dish (including the highlights) are spot on and the portions are very large. One of the best food experiences we had in Japan and definetely one of the tastiest mackarel we had (I think it currently shares the top spot with Kanazawa). Must visit spot!

The sesame saba is a must eat. The daily special is fried yellow tail come with sesame Saba. The fish is very fresh, only complained is the rice, a bit too soft, everything else is good. Cash payment only, order your food before entering. Will come back to eat if back in fuluoka again
