Kanda Gyouzaya

Nice place to get your fill of Japanese-style chinese fast food and their signature gyozas. I tried the recommended pork gyoza and they were quite great. The gyoza here was not very juicy but had thicker skin and fillings. It was bigger than what I expected.

For my main fish I ordered Mabo Don which was basically mabo tofu over rice. Basically left the place with food coma; I ate too much 😂

Great taste, big portions, and affordable. Also not crowded even at 5PM. Nice place for dinner if you're staying or visiting in the area.

A gyoza specialty store located a 2-minute walk from Jimbocho's A5 exit.
I couldn't make a reservation, so I popped in on a holiday night.
When I went there around 7pm on a Sunday, the place was pretty crowded, but it wasn't nearly full, so I was able to get in easily.
Unlike the previous information, the last order was 7:30pm.

There are table seats lined up against the wall, and there are sofa seats along the wall.
It's a little narrow, but it's not too cramped.

There were original vegetable gyoza, black pork gyoza, shiso gyoza, crispy gyoza, and chive gyoza.
We had the most popular black pork gyoza and crispy gyoza.

First, I had the Kurobuta Gyoza, which had a strong pork flavor and was delicious. Well, before that, it's huge. It comes with 6 pieces, so it's quite a volume.

Crispy gyoza is a thin, crispy gyoza. It might be a good idea to ask for it if you're having a gathering where crispy food is absolutely essential, but otherwise it might not be essential.
Rather, I was interested in the shiso gyoza, so I would like to order it if I come again.

While strolling around the shops where you can have lunch and light drinks, I found a nice shop in a back alley.

A businessman goes to lunch. . . And it was already past 2pm. . . This is a good store atmosphere♪ So I entered the store!

It's a Chinese restaurant that only serves box seats and mainly serves gyoza. Judging by the atmosphere of the staff and customers, I guess it's probably run by an overseas Chinese person.

A local Chinese restaurant with 8 types of gyoza, all delicious. The Kurobuta gyoza dumplings are large, so be careful with the number of pieces. I like that you can order from 3 pieces. Fried rice is a classic and simple dish. It is very good to have less additives.

Sunratan soup is also delicious.
I also ordered mapo eggplant, vegetable dumplings, soup dumplings, and jajangmyeon, and I was satisfied with all of them. If you have a large number of people, we recommend sharing various things.
