Amazing kappo with very exotic dishes served. The chef and lady owner took the effort to help translate and explain what the dishes were as we were the only non-locals there that evening. Everything from the pufferfish to the soft shell turtle soup were amazing and it was a great experience sitting at the counter looking at all the food getting prepared. Would head back here again if given a chance.

I visited for the first time on Wednesday night when the table was full. From Vuyaves, a starter, to desserts, I enjoyed every single dish. It was fun to experience the new ingredient such as baby eel, sweetfish roe. My favourite dish was soba with the fish broth. Broth was just amazing and they offered my rice to on with. My Japanese was bad so the staff responded well using English and a translator. If I visit Fukuoka next time I'm definitely willing to revisit.
