Kobe Bar Nakanaka

A hidden gem, just like the other reviews say. Got the 200g of ishigaki beef “fillet” and 200g of Kobe beef. The set come with salad, soup, and rice. Plenty of food and well worth the cost. Staff is very nice and explained all the food. Surprisingly spacious inside. Will be back!

Best Steak in Okinawa hands down. Authentic Kobe beef! The owner is from Kobe and makes sure the quality is A one. They can even give you a run down of how the cow was raised. Sooo good. I’ve gone twice now. I can’t wait for my next time. Great place for a date night or a couples date.

This is BY FAR the best place to get Kobe beef in Okinawa. The chef is from Kobe and cooked the beef to perfection. Knowing little Japanese, I was warmly welcomed with English. One of the owners/chefs speaks English very well as he use to live in the UK. 12/10 recommend anyone who wants great beef and service. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

Before I talk about the food, everybody must know that there is no obvious signage of this restaurant. Only very small print on the lamp and the cloth by the door will tell you it’s identity. So look out for shop lot without identity!
And the food is amazing!
Both the beef and chicken were fantastic! The way they prepare it, you can truly taste the greatness of the beef. Highly recommend you try both the sirloin steak and the fillet steak. The fillet doesn’t come with as much fat as sirloin, but they charcoal grilled it such that one side is cook and one side is raw (for each slice, thick slice!), and it kind of “almost” melt in your mouth. The sirloin, on the other hand, was so fragrance because of the amount of fat in there. No beef smell at all, just pure fragrance. Eat it with Okinawa salt and some wasabi, it is definitely amazing. The grill chicken is also highly recommended, I have never eaten such tender chicken before.
