Truly a hidden gem. This place serves yakitori omakase style with options to add on or a la carte. It is tucked away on the innermost area of a food street, next to some residential homes. The decor and presentation of the establishment is truly one of a kind. Delicious at reasonable prices, you can taste the smoke and charcoal in each bite, with each piece cooked to perfection, crispy skin and juicy meat, and a slight subtle tare flavor. No English menu for foreigners but don’t let that stop you. The chef and staff are very friendly. Please be polite and quiet when talking outside the restaurant and opening the door as it is partially in a residential area. We did not make a reservation but it seems that it is recommended, and they only seat 8 guests by our count.

This is Cocle's second store. The first store, Kokre, is a casual restaurant that serves delicious yakitori in a stylish space. The second store, Kokure, is a slightly upper-class space. It's entertaining and fun to be able to watch customers and chefs cooking at the same table on a single plate. One of the owners, who used to work at Kokre, is the one who bakes it, so his technique is better. The cost performance is very good for this food in this space. Because the wine is mainly natural, you can enjoy it in various ways ◎
