On this day, we had a party to eat all the Tanba matsutake mushrooms. We purchased matsutake mushrooms that had been harvested that morning and had them grilled, made into bowls, fried, and steamed with rice.
I wonder if the scent doesn't escape when it's so fresh, but at this age I've noticed that when matsutake mushrooms are placed in front of me, they don't have as much scent as I expected, but as soon as I put them in my mouth, they emit a violent scent. I learned this for the first time.
