Traditional Shabu Shabu experience. Much prefer this branch than the other one in JR station. The restaurant is in the old wooden building by the river. Guests are seated in a maze of private rooms facing small Japanese garden. Veteran staffs in Kimonos served and cooked for you with highest level of service (which are hard to find these days).

Having watched “Ideal Sukiyaki”, we had to try Sukiyaki in Japan. Made a reservation and requested river view, was given a beautiful room that looks like a ryokan. This was the best thing I’ve had in Japan.
