A sophisticated hideout for adults, an izakaya near Odori Station
The other day, I visited an izakaya with an elegant atmosphere near Odori Station. It is a 3-5 minute walk from Bus Center-mae Station, and is a sophisticated space a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Since it is a popular restaurant, it is almost impossible to make a reservation on the same day. I made a reservation about a month in advance for my friend's return trip. Even with a reservation, there was a two-hour stay limit, but you can still enjoy it.
The quality of the food is really great. In particular, the ``sashimi'' is of such high quality that it's hard to believe it costs 1,000 yen per person. Jumbo Lamb Shiumai was a richly flavored shumai that I had never tasted before, and after each person ate one serving of clay pot rice, the leftovers were made into rice balls to take home. The "cabbage steak" was so big that I had to cut it at my seat.
They have a wide variety of drinks, including Sapporo SORACHI draft beer, a variety of sake and wine, and the prices are reasonable.
Although it looks small from the outside, the inside of the store is surprisingly spacious. It's the perfect place to enjoy delicious food and a nice atmosphere. I definitely want to go again!

Recommended for days when you want to have a drink, this restaurant is said to be a sister restaurant to the popular Soseigawa restaurant ``stem.'' It has a casual atmosphere similar to that of an izakaya, a relaxed restaurant-like atmosphere, and a bistro-like atmosphere where you can casually enjoy delicious drinks and side dishes. An interesting restaurant with some Western nuances mixed in. The menu, which changes frequently, features a wonderful selection of sake and appetizers made with fresh seafood caught that day and carefully selected ingredients delivered directly from the farm. All of the items had a great sense of combination and arrangement of ingredients, and there were some dishes that used spices and transcended genres. It's a fun place to spend time thinking about pairings with a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, and all the dishes you order are served in small portions on individual plates, and if you're on your own, they'll even suggest a half-sized portion so you can enjoy it all. I also appreciate the thoughtfulness. There are sake vessels to choose from and vessels with a sense of style◎
