A shop located 2-3 minutes walk from Takadanobaba Station
There was a store I was looking for, but it turned out to be closed. I arrived there hungry and in a panic (lol). I immediately researched the area and found a restaurant that was highly rated by Tabelog. A private store hidden away in a back alley. There was a curry shop across the street, but I guess it was a competitive area?
When I entered the store, I saw a lot of regular customers coming and going. Highly popular in the area, expectations are rising
◎The menu I ordered✅
Chicken curry medium size rice 340g (630 yen)
Boiled egg 60 yen
Fried onion 50 yen
Aren't all the toppings cheap? lol
I don't go to many curry shops, but it feels cheap.
Chicken curry with fried onions on top arrived. Place the boiled eggs in a separate plate with their shells on. The roux looks like a muddy spice, but when you eat it, it's quite light and sweet. Simple but delicious, fried onions add texture and aroma.
I expected the boiled egg to be half-boiled, but it turned out to be quite firm. This is fine. lol
Hunger is the biggest seasoning, as I was so hungry that I wish I had eaten a larger portion, but I finished it in about 5 minutes.
It's not that the taste is outstanding though
I really like the serious atmosphere of the owner and the atmosphere of the regulars who gather in this hideaway shop.
The spicy curry is only available on Thursdays and Sundays, so I'll come again.
Thank you for the meal.
