The best one I've been to in Japan. I'm no expert, but I just love cafes, especially when traveling, and I absolutely love this one. I was a bit disappointed about Nara – they said 'all they had is deers,' and it seemed to be the case until I found this place. The latte was perfectly balanced, and the croissant was flaky and buttery (겉바속촉) to the point where I had to order another plate along with a cappuccino and a plain croissant. It would be even better if they had cinnamon powder, but I still had a pleasant experience there and would definitely visit this place anytime I come to this city. Great spot to take a rest after long walks in the park with tastes in a calming vibe.

Must try coffee shop in Nara! , Me and my wife came from Sydney, Australia decided to choose this shop for brunch, we surprised cause french toast was really good! ( i did order 2x times ). Also they can make FLAT WHITE as well. We also brought some coffee souvenirs from this shop.
Service quite fast and prices not really expensive!

Warning: Skip it in the mornings esp on weekdays. Go only midday onwards.
Real travellers go there in the morning to get food and coffee coz of their long train rides and early mornings to tick Nara off their bucket list before heading down to that mochi slapping store.
If you get a brunch set here, you can have a seat, and enjoy the super flakey and very well made croissant. They have a variety of coffees and drinks.
Be sure to take in the coffee bean wall. If you’re alone the lovely garden is a good place to stare into space over a pour over.
The brownie is a skip. The chiffon is a must.

Smart coffee shop who know how to make coffee. The menu contains Long Black and Cafe Latte - and they know how to make them. The roast used for the milk coffees could be a little stronger, so a double shot is really needed. However this is one of the few coffee shops that can makes espresso based coffee well.

I enjoyed my beautiful latte, and there was plenty of sitting space available on a Wednesday morning. The French Croissant was delicious, both soft and crispy with syrup topping. The tables were a bit scratched up. Seems like a well loved place! One minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara station, so it’s super convenient.
