A popular place with the locals since the quality of the food is quite high and the prices are very affordable and fair.
We went during the lunch time at 11 and as soon as they opened, the restaurant got packed very quickly. The look and feel of the restaurant is also pretty laid back and relaxing and you'll be surrounded by locals who are enjoying the food and chatting, creating a very friendly atmosphere.
As for the food, they had two different sets as part of the lunch menu, both very reasonably priced at 880¥ and 1000¥, and we ordered both.The lunch set also came with rice and miso soup and you can choose the size of the rice from small, medium and large. The mix fries set included menchi katsu, chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, cream croquet and cabbage salad while the Hamburg set included a hamburg steak, chicken katsu and cabbage salad.
Presentation of the food was pleasant and appetizing as evident from the attached pictures and as for the taste, it was a very good although not memorable meal, as is the case with most restaurants which serve Japanese-style western food. Everything was tender, fresh and crispy however the hamburg steak and chicken katsu were a bit bland despite being very tender and juicy.
Overall it's a very good restaurant which offers great quality for a cheap price and I'm definitely coming back soon to try the dinner menu and other menu items. The only downside can be the lack of English on the menu which can be hard if you don't read Japanese.
