A true taste of Zen. Michelin Guide 2023. Ordered the Yuki set. Every element of the dish took me by surprise in a pleasant way. The set cost 3300 yen but I think there will be a price increase soon. Vegetarian cuisine. Great dining ambience!

This was our best food experience in Japan. Truly a must-try! It is a set vegan menu that is reasonably priced for the amount of food given to you. You get the authentic experience of sitting on Tatami mats for the meal and it is a very zen experience having a meal within temple grounds. The food tastes fresh, not heavy but filling because of the tofu. It is more than a 3-course meal with the amount of dishes given.

Tasty, vegetarian, didn't think those words went together. If you can handle eating while seated on the floor, you should go here for the experience. Lots of good bites, it's a set menu. We loved it.
