Great find! The yakitori was delicious and masterfully prepared. They serve Chouchin, which is not that common, and we loved it and immediately ordered seconds. Sit at the counter to observe the painstaking effort Chef makes to prepare each Chouchin. Both male and female staff were attractive, friendly and spoke a smattering of English, which is helpful. Will return.

Made it a MUST when we revisited Nagoya after six years - it's a wonder how they have kept up if not improved their quality - felt like dejavu! We have ordered just about every parts of yakitori.
Momo (thigh) is a must for beginners and best to share between two people.
Seseri (neck), Bonjiri, Sunagimo (gizzard) were the best and memorable!
Hopefully it won't take another six years to visit Senkame again.
