This restaurant in Enoshima that I had researched and made a reservation for in advance was highly recommended by many people for its delicious food. When we arrived at noon, they promptly seated us without any wait. We ordered their signature rice bowl, a sashimi platter with three types of fish, and a serving of tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette).
Let me start by talking about the tamagoyaki. Normally, I've had tamagoyaki made with frozen ingredients, but this one was different. It had a texture similar to scrambled eggs—soft, smooth, and not too sweet. It was actually savory, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend trying it.
Now, onto the sashimi. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality of the fish was top-notch, and each piece melted in our mouths. It was definitely a highlight of the meal. On the other hand, the restaurant's signature rice bowl didn't quite appeal to my taste.
