Hakone Dolce Studio Stella

A hidden gem. Such a unique and delicious gelato shop. The flavours are exciting and perfectly balanced. Some of the best gelato I have ever had.

Good ice cream! I got the caramel figs and the quattro formaggi flavours and apparently the last one was hard to make. Their efforts resulted in a delicious ice cream, and much better than the caramel figs. I expected more of the last one. I would like to try more of them if I would spend more time in Hakone.

Amazing ice cream! everyone was so nice, spoke good English, and the gelato was delicious, I highly recommend the fig and pistacchio but the four cheese was also very good maybe not for everyone's taste but very creamy. You could tell that they put lots of effort into everything they make there!

Very unique flavours. We tried the figs ice cream. The based is burnt caramel, smooth and not too sweet.

Quattro cheese: really good with goat cheese flavor
Kumquat butter: also very good, with those crunchy kumquat slices up top.

Few other flavors didn’t get to try but all look really tasty.
