A year ago, we made our debut at the Daimon store, and this year, we are making our debut at the main store. As expected, the maika sashimi was extremely sweet and delicious. The potato butter and yakitori (pork belly skewers) in Hokkaido were also delicious. The squid sashimi and potato butter were delivered very quickly after ordering, so I didn't have them on hand for too long.
I really wanted to eat squid sashimi, so it was a good idea to make an early reservation. It was just me and my wife, and we were seated at a table separated by curtains, so that was nice.

A place I always go to in Hakodate is ``Live Fish Cuisine Ikasei Honten'', and I look forward to eating the live squid sashimi here.
This time, of course, I made a reservation and enjoyed the live squid.
It is transparent and the more you chew, the sweetness spreads throughout your mouth.
Once you eat the live squid here, you won't even think that other squid is squid (lol).
I decided to have the legs fried later.

There was also asparagus tempura, grilled crab miso shell, fried caspe, grilled squid, dashimaki egg, and fried mozzarella cheese, all of which were definitely delicious.
In particular, the fried Kaspe (kasube) was delicious, with fluffy flesh and crunchy bones.
The drinks were served quickly and went well with the food, so we kept going.

This restaurant is popular, so we recommend making a reservation before visiting.

I went with the 5000 yen course. The squid that came out was moving very energetically. I wonder if the local squid are getting a little bigger in late September? All the other dishes are also delicious. I think reservations are essential.
