Dined here on a weekday and it was worth the bus ride on the windy road from Nikko Heritage center . The restaurant is in a beautiful setting with ample sunlight and views of the lake . Being a vegetarian, I only had the Margarita pizza option , which was delicious, the complimentary breads were very fresh . Tiramisu had the right texture and flavor . Food was plated very delicately and the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, both the Japanese and gaijin staff helped me with lunch and dessert selection.
Highly recommend Ritz Carlton Nikko and Lakehouse.

- Need to reserve a table in advance. I’m a hotel in-house guest but couldn’t get the table on first day. Have to wait for the next day.

One of my new favorite restaurants, anywhere. Absolutely amazing and cozy atmosphere, great food and wines and an overall great experience. We ended up taking the course menu which was a good choice given that we wanted to try a few things in the menu. Will definitely be back.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious, my favorite was the Cesar salad. The ambiance was on point along with the customer service. We chose the ala carte menu vs the set.
