It was a wonderful experience having dinner at L’oiseau par Matsunaga. Fish and Wagyu both are in beautiful plates like art and of course it is very delicious gourmet dishes. My wife and I also have wine pairing with all the plates. I would like to visit again when we come to Hakodate later!!

chapeau to the chef matsunaga and mihoko. we had a fantastic culinary evening with top quality seasonal ingredients from hokkaido. magic in the fine hand of chef matsunaga. highligh was french lobster, foie gras with kumquat orange, and of course the main course we had various from venison, beef wagyu and kinki fish. but also amazing touch of abalone! fantastico! vast wine list, amazing selection of white and red burgundy. the whole dining experience started very fast reply on email by mihoko, as well as during the dinner mihoko took care of us personally. this is amazing. warm and sophisticated hospitality. highly recomended.

A true French Restaurant with excellent food and wine. You can find old wines with reasonable price. A must try choice in Hakodate 🥰🥰

Chef 松永 was featured in a special dinner service for French Week, and had the chance to taste some of his signature dishes and cooking techniques from L'oiseau. Using fresh ingredients flown in from Hokkaido, the course was spectacular.
