Best sushi and sashimi that I’ve had. It’s all extremely fresh and local caught seafood and tastes amazing. Not cheap but well worth it.

Oneda-san's passion about food is all shown in his Sushi. It is simply superb. I've never tasted anything better, probably will never since I'm in Malaysia/Singapore

Highly recommended. All dishes are neatly prepared by chef Oneda. Enjoy every single piece. We order a la carte instead of omagase set. We had chutoro, botan ebi, uni, hotate, hokkigai, salmon, anago, etc. All of them are great. Thanks chef!!!

One year after moving to Hakodate, I finally had the opportunity to visit.
During his time in Morimachi, he would take JR lines that he would not normally use (because he was drinking alcohol), or he would stay at an inn near the store to visit the store.
Although it is true, the course price is not cheap, and I thought that the atmosphere of the restaurant and the owner had changed, but the simple and friendly customer service and dedication to making seasonal seafood delicious are the same as before. There wasn't.
A few seats at the counter only. While enjoying the master's hands and movements up close, you can take your time and enjoy the course, which is served in exquisite anbai style.
You can definitely have a happy time. A famous store that you'll want to visit in all seasons, even if it means stretching your back a little.
