Sankyu, a teppanyaki restaurant in Nishi-Azabu, has started regular lunch hours for the first time since the temporary lunch hours during the coronavirus pandemic, so I revisited it for the first time in six years.
During lunch time from 11:30 to 15:00 on weekdays, a fish or meat set meal is available for 1,500 yen.
On the day of your visit, we have a lineup of stewed silver cod or katsudon with sauce.
Comes with 5 daily small dishes, miso soup, rice (free large serving), and pickles.
On that day, I ordered a set meal of boiled silver cod with a large serving of rice.
The large serving of rice with the well-seasoned silver cod was easy to eat, and the 5 daily small dishes of small fish escabeche, medium-sized yam kake, hijiki, kinpira, fried egg, and macaroni salad were also of good quality and delicious. A delicious and enjoyable lunch.
What's more, a large bowl of inari-san that oozes out the sweet soup stock is included, making it a very filling meal.

On the day, we had salmon escabeche (pickled in Nanban) and mizuna kimchi.

The steamy texture of the seasonal bamboo shoots matches the elegant slightly soy sauce taste, making it very delicious.

“Japanese Black Beef A5 Steak Fillet/Sirloin/Inner Thigh 3 Type Assortment” 12,700 yen + tax → 7,200 yen + tax
For single items, inner thigh is 3,400 yen + tax → 1,700 yen + tax, sirloin is 4,400 yen + tax → 2,200 yen + tax, fillet is 4,900 yen + tax, and only fillet is not eligible for half price.
If you order 3 types, you will receive a discount including the `fin'', so order all at once!
The `inner thigh'' is hard enough to bite into with your teeth, but the meat itself is quite good. This is fine if you don't want to compare them, but it's a bit strange when it's half the regular price.
The `sirloin'' is melty and tender, and the more you bite into it, the more flavor it oozes out.
“Fin” is a special case. The meltiness is two levels higher than that of sirloin, making it a masterpiece.
All three types can be eaten with just the seasoning, but the seasoning options include ginger onion sauce, grated sauce, salt and wasabi, and personally, the salt is the best.
We recommend the `fillet'' for absolute deliciousness, and the `sirloin'' for cost performance considering half the price.

“Soba Meshi” 1,300 yen + tax
In the first place, 1,300 yen + tax for Soba Meshi feels like it's beyond the boundaries of B-class gourmet food, so I ordered it as a finishing touch after steak.
Rice and thick noodles with an amazing fruity sauce.
The meat hidden inside was also juicy, and even though I ate so much steak, it was delicious.

The counter seats I was given today were very good as the sound and aroma of the food sizzling on the griddle in front of me stimulated my appetite.

Sankyu is pronounced as `Sankyu.'' The hardcore nature of the title, which uses extremely difficult kanji, is enough to give it 5 stars!
The seats are separated, making it easy to have secret discussions (?), making it a great restaurant for dinner parties!
Naturally, the food was rich in variety and tasted satisfying. It's Gochi!
