Yamato Craft Beer Table Kintetsu Nara Ekimae Store

Great location for a quick bite and some fresh beer. Several of their beers were sold out but every beer we ordered was delicious. The pizza was not good however, soft and chewy dough, not hot but just somewhat warm and lacking a lot of flavor. Location, beer, and service are all still good

Nice little microbrewery at the edge of the Higashimuki Shopping Street and a stone's throw away from the Kintetsu-Nara Station. Strong beer!

Food was decent albeit on the rich side, and the service good. Would recommend if you like full-bodied craft beer and enjoy sampling local brew in a casual setting with a selection of fusion pub grub.

Oh what a fun day with the deer! It certainly was a memorable time wandering around Nara, but the humidity and heat in Kansai Summertime can get you! It was time to relax and unwind somewhere with cold AC and beer... oh I needed that icy Japanese Biru!

I was in the shopping area of Nara and serendipity led me to MEATxPIZZA YAMATO Craft Beer Table. A modern and roomy restaurant with a bar to collect myself. You walk in to a myriad of awards. This place looks very promising to this thirsty American-jin.

I am greeted and I request bar seating. The place was hopping for a Beer hall in such a historic city. Almost every table was filled with chatter, but I was led to the bar where I could chill and reflect on my day.

Menu in hand I order the YAMATO Saison Biru and Japanese Fish & Chips small plate. I recharged myself and caught up some on social media. The Saison 6% was the perfect start with smooth citrus and hint of spice. It paired perfect with the Japanese Fish & Chips small plate. A second menu was handed to me (in Japanese) while I was drinking the Saison. As tempting as it was I just wanted a second round YAMATO Biru and went with the Pale Ale 5%. Hop-forward with a malty flavor it was a good choice to end my night.

I recommend MEATxPIZZA YAMATO Craft Beer Table for all appetites. The menu is very diverse and some unique pizzas as well. Of course for beer enthusiasts, like myself, I know you'll enjoy the unique beer offerings here. My only regret? Not trying the Nara Brewing Matcha Biru! I'll save it for next time! Ja ne 愛.

A small craft brewery that produces and offers to taste its creations directly on site or to take away.

The food on offer is excellent, and pairing it with a specific beer is easy with a map that guides you.

However, the best tasting experience remains, in my opinion, the discovery menu. You have several small glasses of beers accompanied by small assorted dishes.

If you are a beer lover, you can go there with your eyes closed.

Perfect spot wif coffee & 4 taps of beer to choose frm. Too bad, IPA sold out that day 😟😟😟
