If you're in Hakodate, this place is a must. We went on a Friday. Make reservations to insure you get in. The initial rush slowed down about 8:30pm. The photo below is of the "otoushi" or appetizer that they bring out when you sit down. So awesome!!

It was a great experience. The O-toshi serving was generous for 500yen/pax. The sashimi we ordered in addition is also very nice and priced reasonably. The place was a little bit smoky though due to the cooking. Still, its a highly recommended place.
