Used it for dinner while staying at Roku Kyoto LXR.
I ordered a few things a la carte and they were all delicious and reasonably priced.
However, when I ordered sweet and sour pork with black vinegar and ate it, the meat was very soft and tasted like fish, but since I had ordered sweet and sour pork, I ate it thinking that it was sweet and sour pork. I asked my companion if this wasn't some weird sweet and sour pork, but he said it was just regular sweet and sour pork, but it still seemed strange, so I asked the staff what was this sweet and sour pork with something fish-like in it? When I asked, he said that he didn't think there was any fish in the dish, but that he would check with the chef, and when I returned, a person who appeared to be a floor manager came right away and apologized because there were several different things in the dish besides pork. He brought me something new.
Apparently the wrong ingredient was fish or conger eel.
I ate it thinking it was sweet and sour pork, but I had no idea there was fish in it either, so my brain went crazy. It just so happened that the food I had added was all different ingredients, and my family insisted that it was nothing but pork, so I thought I was making a fool of myself.
Well, I don't have any allergies, so personally I don't have a problem with this, but if someone with allergies were to eat something bad, it would be a big problem, so I hope they will be careful in the future.
