LOVED this hidden gem in Japan! An absolute highlight of my trip—one of the best meals hands down. From the dreamy sashimi to the mind-blowing beef carpaccio and the most incredible squid, every bite was a delight. The dessert, a seemingly simple treat (hard to capture any photo in the dim lighting), turned out to be a mouthwatering surprise with oat milk whiskey.

The staff was beyond thoughtful, and the chef, fluent in both Japanese and English, spent a good 20 minutes sharing his passion for unique, sustainable, local ingredients. Missing out if you don't visit. Counting down the days until my next Japan trip for another incredible meal!

An interesting balancing act between French cuisine experience and Kyoto kaiseki cooking techniques and ingredients. The tastes and flavors are very subtle and delicate. It is copious in a Kyoto kaiseki sense. It is a healthy variety and amount of food. However I would. Probably had not chosen to end the omakase with another fried dish. The service is attentive and friendly. The decor is beautiful. It is almost perfect if you do not mind a long service. In an elegant and unusual decor.

Nice and cosy ambience with a beautiful house at a tranquil area, as a restaurant. Enjoyable lunch, very good cooking. Service was adequate for a small 3-chefs team.
