Elegant and delicious
Naturally, it's pricey (around 10,000 yen). My wife, who has been to many French restaurants in Kyoto and to France several times, says that this place is more authentic than others.

Really scrumptious French meal course at reasonable price. You have a view of Arashiyama mountain and river while savoring the delicious food… not so rich … it’s just right! And don’t forget to take home their pastries…. I loved the macaroons ❤️the staff were helpful and courteous ❤️I’m going back this week for lunch again .

In our first trip after the beginning of the pandemic, we were looking for some takeaways option or outdoor seating, and we were lucky to find the Muni La Terasse. They have a very nice and open outdoor area, which gives a lot of social distance and ventilation, with a great view of the Katsuragawa river.
The food was great - we loved specially the fish, the bread and the dessert - but what made it a great experience was the staff. They were very kind of making an off-menu pasta for my som. Everyone was very kind, attentive, helpful and patient. We really enjoyed it, so we highly recommend this restaurant.
