Toi Inshokuten

No exaggeration, this was the best Indian food I've ever had. I had the mutton curry and chicken curry and they were both incredible. My wife had the vegetarian curry and she said it was incredible. It was so good we had to go back the next day. So happy we went twice. The staff were exceptionally fast and polite. Very great place after walking through the deer park all morning. Get there quick and get your name on the list for lunch, it is so worth it!!! I wish I could go back a third time.

This is the best restaurant in the whole of Japan! From the moment you walk inside you are welcomed with big smiles and it is just such a warm atmosphere. The food brings all the south asian flavours back, and almost makes it feel like you are back home. The Chef and waiters are amazing. If you want to eat at a place and be shocked at the intense flavours and aromas please give this place a go, you will not be disappointed!

I had non veg thali with 2 curry option today. Both curries (mutton pepper fry and chicken) individually were one of the best I have had anywhere ever! All side items were to the tee. Highly recommended to folks craving desi food!

This has to one of the best south indian meals not just in nara but in whole japan. The owner was very friendly and they have the kept the taste very authentic, very close to real indian experience. Must go if you’re in nara. Great value and even better taste. Nearby to nara station and also offers vegetarian option.

I have had indian food all over the world and this is hands down one of the best experiences I have had. The staff was helpful and quick, and the food was excellent and authentic.
