Clamp is a few minutes away from the Nijo station. There’s plenty of seating, make sure to sit side by side to allow space for others to sit and enjoy also.
We ordered the egg & bacon toast and the French toast, along with 2 dark roast iced drip coffee. Service was great and the food and drinks were amazing.

I love the vibes of this shop. Decorated on the outside with greenery, the inside cozy and hip. As someone from Portland, Oregon, where coffee is huge, I can say this coffee is amazing!! They do their own roasting in the shop. The French toast was also flavorful and the staff was kind.

I lived in Japan from 2020-2022 while the borders are closed and I can say they STILL have the best coffee in Kyoto. If you are a coffee connessieur, and care about quality beans and a good pour over- look no further. The pastries are so amazing. Get the carrot cake. Thank me later.
