Great restaurant. If you are staying at the hotel breakfast can be had here as well. Atmosphere is very good. Especially with such a breathtaking garden so close by. The food is very good as well. Staff is very forthcoming and friendly as well. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu from Forni. ð

Situated in The Hotel Mitsui Kyoto âForniâ is the Italian restaurant.
I went for a green salad, vegan pasta, four cheese pizza with truffles & finishing up with Basque Cheese Cake.
Definitely need to visit the gym ! The pizza was on crispy thin bread so much lighter to digest than heavy dough.
Tomoka the staff who served had an excellent blend of service and friendliness - quite a rare skill in Japan
Highly recommended and did not break the bank at all!
