Great Japanese style bagels (softer than US style bagels and slightly smaller) if you're in the area - visiting the Kyoto concert hall or Kyoto Botanical Gardens. Good place to pick-up breakfast before heading to either place. They have simple bagel sandwiches like smoked salmon and cream cheese. It's a cute, little local shop worth visiting if you're in the area. The spinach bagel and the onion bagel are my favorites. I wish they a few more flavors. This shop has been around 13 years, and apparently is a local favorite for those in the know.

Yum yum yum scrumdiliumptious!! I got the spinach bagel with smoke salmon and cream cheese. The bagels are on the small side but are perfect for breakfast... And OOOF the texture is on point ✊

Also got an iced latte and it tasted really good. Love the logo and the cute but simple aesthetic of the shop. There are two tiny benches where you can sit and eat, but no big eating area.

There is a bathroom readily accessible by the front entrance as well. Will definitely go back and get two sandwiches next time 😍

Delicious bagels tucked away in the northern part of Kyoto. They have a nice variety of bagels and some savoury snacks as well. The carrot muffin was delicious!

I made a reservation in advance and visited a bagel shop that I had always wanted to go to but couldn't because it was located a little far away. Reservations are recommended as several types of bagels are limited to reservations only. ...

I went on a bakery tour in Kyoto and went to Radio Bagel in Kitayama. This is a popular bagel shop in Kyoto. When I went there on a holiday afternoon, there were only popular shops, and there were fewer types of bagels. I bought a plain bagel. ...

The bagel dough is chewy and delicious! There seemed to be a lot of variety, but they were sold out when I went, so I recommend going early. It's better to eat it early if possible! After all, as time passes...
