Sure lovely and cute cafe with great coffee and food!
We ran into it on our way down the mountain after hiking the tori gates.
They are open earlier than most places so even though it was ~9, there were tons of people.
They have a great seating area outside that is perfect for fish and duck watching while you enjoy your drinks.
Loved the breakfast plate. We ordered extra egg and bacon to be shared with 2 people and got a much needed hot chocolate & latte to reenergize.
Highly recommend for those in the area.

We had breakfast here back in July. The place is small but cozy and beautiful. They initially sat us in different tables outside with views of the river, but then we moved to the table inside so we can eat all together (group of 7). It was a great late breakfast, good drinks and nice pastries, everything we needed after climbing Fushimi Inari. We totally recommend it!

Noticed this quaint little cafe while descending Mt Inari and decided to give it a go. Staff were very friendly and menu was in English. Got the Vermilion Breakfast (1800 yen) and the Hummus (1400 yen) both of which were delicious. Would also recommend sitting out on the terrace where there's a great view of the tranquil pond. Highly recommended

Translated from Japanese:

You can walk from Fushimi Inari. The inside of the store feels like a fusion of Japanese and Western styles. You can eat Aussie breakfast (?). It may not look attractive, but it not only looks great but also tastes delicious. The price is a little high. At the customer's side...

A stylish cafe that suddenly appeared on the way down from the first peak of Fushimi Inari Shrine. We were soothed by the greenery, quenched our thirst with Kyoto local beer, and had a delicious lunch. The thickness of the bacon is good. Looks like bacon from Howl ❤️

Translated from Japanese:

I visited Vermilion Cafe two days in a row because it was close to Vermilion Cafe, which I really wanted to go to. The Vermilion Plate was hearty, the salad came with my favorite avocado, and the bacon was especially delicious. Outdoor terrace in winter...
