We visited BRUGGE Rakuhoku.
The store is located in Iwakura Hasemachi, Sakyo Ward, quite far from the city center. A car is required to visit (there is a car park for the store). As you can see from Google Maps, it is located along a considerable mountain. "..." I'm sure you'll think so when you actually go and see it. But when you enter the store and take a look...
I visited (2023.12/16) about 40 minutes before opening time on Saturday. The owner happened to be waiting to enter the store? The shopkeeper? I found the store and was told, ``If the current situation is okay, we'll take care of it, so please go ahead...'' and I was able to enter the store quite early, before opening time. (Thanks to this, I was able to purchase the store's signature product "Rakuhoku French" freshly baked and piping hot.) The store has sweet breads, side dish breads, baked goods, and sweets. Rakuhoku French/Rakuhoku Chocolate/Black Bean Bread!/Christmas Chocolat Tree".
All four items are very delicious and have a taste that you can't find anywhere else, but the store's signature products ``Rakuhoku French'' and ``Rakuhoku Chocolate'' were outstandingly delicious. The atmosphere of the store was bright (we had permission to take photos inside the store) and the staff were friendly and attentive, and as I was selecting products, I almost forgot that I had come all the way to the mountain. Basically, takeout is the main thing, but there is a terrace seat at the back of the shop where you can eat and drink.Breads are individually wrapped and sweets are packed in small boxes for takeout, so you can eat sweets at the terrace seat. We recommend that you bring disposable paper plates and forks with you (a spoon is included in the small box).Even if you live in the city, it may seem a little far away, but there are many bakeries and sweets shops in the city. I have a different taste. A kind owner? The shopkeeper? There are also staff members who provide attentive customer service. This is quite a long comment, but if you've read it to the end and are interested, please come and see it.
For your reference...
